IT was great to see some familiar faces at our variety days in Harvey and West Gingin in August. We had an exciting week with Dr Dave Monks visiting WA to talk about his evaluation of varieties. You can read more about his visit in the following article. A big thanks to Sandgroper Fruits and Yambellup Estate for hosting another event this year.
I look forward to seeing you at our end of year event in late November.

21–22 October, WA Horticulture Update, Caversham WA
Growing WA: Fresh food, sustainable futures" is this year's theme. This event brings speakers to WA to talk on broad issues, local issues and what is new.
10-12 December, Visit by the Board and CEO of Citrus Australia
There will be a WA regional advisory group meeting while they are here, and they will visit some WA growers. If you would like to join either please let Bronwyn know.
