New local, superior products now available

WA horticulture growers now have access to new, superior, home-grown and locally-produced soil and plant health and nutrition products.

RENERGI, which has its origins in local research from Curtin University and has a hi-tech plant at Collie, has launched its pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar) and small particle biochar into the local market.

The company’s pyroligneous acid is a highly advanced liquid biostimulant derived from the pyrolosis of sustainable biomass and extensive research has confirmed its effectiveness for improved plant vigour, root activity and microbial balance, aiding plant health and stress tolerance.

Its biochar is a natural, organic-based, high carbon soil amendment and the unique fine particle size achieves optimum surface area and porosity. Biochar’s role in improving crop yields and soil properties, including with greater microbial life and retention of vital nutrients and moisture, is well-known globally. It also reduces the need (and cost) for synthetic fertilisers.
