SOLUNA® APPLES 

showcased at Asia Fruit Logistica 2024

The WA Farm Direct team presented Soluna® apples at Asia Fruit Logistica 2024 in the Grown in Good Nature Australia Pavilion. The event, which took place in Hong Kong from 4–6 September, brought together global leaders to explore trends, innovations, and business opportunities in the fresh produce industry.

ASIA Fruit Logistica offers a unique opportunity to connect with international buyers, distributors, and industry experts. It highlighted WA Farm Direct’s commitment to providing excellence and innovation in fresh produce and gave them an opportunity to showcase the Ondine™ (Stonefruit) and Soluna® brands, both of which are known for their exceptional quality and distinctive flavours.

Soluna® Apple Australian exports are expected to exceed last year’s figures by 15%. The current season is continuing to allow our export markets to expand throughout Asia and the Middle East. Asia Fruit Logistica is an excellent opportunity to connect with regional importers and showcase the dark burgundy Soluna® apple and Soluna® apple juice to potential new customers.

During the three days of Asia Fruit Logistica, attendees were able to sample the stunning Soluna® apples, which continued to turn heads with their vibrant colour and exceptional taste.

On Wednesday, September 4th, a chef event was held at the Grown in Good Nature Hospitality Stand within the Australian Pavilion. Soluna® apples were sampled, and two chef-prepared dishes were served. These dishes showcased Soluna’s versatility, from fresh snacking to gourmet dishes, using simple ingredients to produce a premium dish.

Each country has a specific marketing plan that highlights the best opportunities to showcase the Soluna® apple benefits to consumers.

In Hong Kong during Asia Fruit Logistica, Soluna® highlighted Apple’s consumer benefits by extending the reach of advertising throughout the MTR system and on the Hong Kong Tram.
